if it is worms will it affect the whole flock? Is ACV enough to prevent or do i need to go ahead and buy some worm meds and add it to their water?

No. I have a flock of 20 or more, and though I wormed them all, she was the only one severly affected like this.

ETA: I'm not into the 'organic' stuff, so I dont trust ACV. I want something thats going to get in there, kill the parasite, and get it out.

so your saying the whole flock shouldnt be affected by this. What kind of worm med to you think i should get? i seen some at tractor supply i might go get tomorrow. i only had 4 hens and a roo and now i am down to 3 hens and dont want to lose anymore.

If it were *me*, I'd worm everyone ASAP with a true wormer. Wazine17 is my wormer of choice.
