Throwing birds together without introducing them first often goes poorly, especially with a bird that's much younger and smaller. In addition, adding a single bird is the most difficult form of integration. You need to give them at least a few weeks to see, but not touch, each other, before attempting to put them together - and hiding spaces, multiple feeders and waterers, are a must.
