I have three laying silkies each with about ten to twelve fertile eggs in their nests and are still laying. When will they become broody? If they don't, can these eggs be safely used (cooked) after being there for almost two weeks?

New to this.

I wouldnt eat em ! 2 weeks is a long time for me personaly.
But some folks leave em on the counter for a month!
