I was stupid and bought sick pullets. And mixed them with my healthy hen. Of course my hen got really, really sick.
Now she's past the crisis (did 8 days antibiotics and vitamins in the water) but all have permanently runny noses and some sneezing. Otherwise normal behavior. But no one is laying. Is there no hope for eggs? My healthy one used to lay every day before she caught the respiratory illness from the pullets. Anyone ever heard of slightly sick hens laying eggs? My current plan is to give them a month and if no eggs, they all get culled.
