I am very confused on this disease...I don't care if I cannot add to my flock as long as my birds will be fine and if my hen lays she can hatch her babies. I understand they'd be carriers but is it harmful for them if they stay here and don't expose other birds? And what about us eating eggs from the hen who could be a carrier? I have no clue about the details of birds...I can talk dogs all day long but feel very uneducated when it comes to my feathered pals. Thanks so much!
