Will Sulmet affect laying?

I believed one of my girls was suffering from Cocci, so I treated the whole gang (8 total) with Sulmet (Corid wasnt available, so Sulmet was my only option). The bloody diarrhea cleared up within a day, but now I've gone from 4-5 eggs a day from 8 hens to one. I started treatment on 8/22 for 4 days, so they've had untreated water for 5 days.

Adding to all this, 4 of the 8 hens were added on 8/16 (one of the new girls had the bloody stool), so 16 days ago the pecking order was restructured.

I know it can take weeks for them to start laying after the stress of adding new hens, and that the Sulmet can be hard on them. Is there anything I can do to help them start laying again?

How old are the birds?

4 are 1.5 years and the rest were hatched in March and April.

Might be time for them to start their molt. Hens that are in their second year will molt in the fall. Production might not resume until spring is on the way.
