Will the make up or won't they?

You write you are moving them to a new coop. would it be possible to house the roosters separately. In time the hens will choose the rooster they like the most, for whatever reasons, and two groups may form. This is basically what happens here. The roosters here tend to have two or three favorites and once this is established they don't actively seek to add more hens.

Well, I'm hoping Pan and his little lady friend haven't run off, I'm thinking I agree, easier to just give him back so he has more ladies. if he's down there I'm putting him in his special cage. Thanks everyone for the advice

Pan eloped with a hen named Xena lol! That is too much!
Sad he came back a bit butt hurt all the better for Lucifer though.
Very glad you got your hen back.:)
So Pan and Xena did come back, but he was being a real jerk to all the hens, even pecking and chasing one of the smaller ones away from the food... so I think tomorrow he can go back to my friend's house. I put him in a sepearte cage for tonight

Ikr? I'm kinda disappointed it didn't work out for him to stay with us, but I think he'll be happier back at his old home.. maybe some older rooster will teach him some lady manners. lol My hens were a lot less stressed today with him being in the transport cage...

Well maybe it is for the best, two boys are a handful sometimes under the best circumstances and come spring when the hormones hit..ohh buddy that's fun for the food lady and the hens. :)
