This morning I went to go feed my 1.5 month old chicks and I noticed a hole on the side of the coop then I saw 1 salmon faverollechick with his top half of his beak half snaped off and a dark brahma chick the has a leg scratch above on her thigh, they looked bad this morning. I put some blue kote on the brahma and she seems to walk abit better and the chick with the half brocken top beak is still eating (or trying to eat) and seems abit better too. I think the brahma will make it cause it's not that bad but i don't know about the salmon faverolle. What do you think?

The animal was a racoon and it couldnt fit inside hole it made but I think the coon was using his paws to try grab the chicks but scratched those 2 chicks.

I'm so sorry to hear this! Racoons... ERG! Years ago I experienced racoon and weasle attacks on my flock...Horrifying. Have you fixed the hole? The racoon may come back in the future...
As far as the chicks making it through, as long as they're sufficiently taken care of, I'd say there's a fairly good chance that they'll make it. I've read articles and seen pictures of hens that have been rescued from factory farms (where they cut off half of the baby chick's beak early in life to prevent picking and pecking, but hens are still able to eat.). Once the hens were rescued, they made a full recovery and are living happy, healthy lives. I imagine not having half of the beak will be something for your chicky to get used to, so keep encouraging her to eat and drink (maybe trickle a little fresh water on her beak with a dropper). It's important for her to stay well-fed and hydrated during her healing-time.
As far as the chick with the scratch goes...Keep on putting medicine on it, and it should heal in no time. Be sure, however, that others chicks aren't pecking at her wound! This could aggrivate it, and prevent the healing!

Good luck!

Yes, I have fixed the hole and put cinder blocks where the coon dug, I also set a trap to catch the coon.. If the chick with the brocken top beak lives will the beak grow back or will it stay like that?

As for the one with the scratch the other chicks arnt bitting, her wing is covering the cut plus i've been putting blue kote.

I had a hen who came that way-she had her top beak shortened on purpose at the hatchery. I just made the food and water dish deeper, and she was fine and was my best layer, good weight, and clean. If the beak is not too short it could grow back. It depends.
