Will they be warm enough?

While it is a "pretty coop" it needs much more ventilation ...

How much roof overhang is there on the right side (above nesting boxes)?

If possible making that side have the same venting as the run side would be a start ...

Could you make the chicken door out of hardware cloth?

Ya the triangle you highlighted goes through to the coop and is mostly sheltered from the elements. I do have the lower portion of the run wrapped in plastic. I’ll post pictures with the plastic on tomorrow when It’s light enough to take them.

Ok I get every one is obsessing over size the coop. We received extra unplanned for birds in our fall order we will expand in the spring. The second coop we were using was not water tight or draft proof and the birds had to be moved it was not an option. They are never left for days or weeks locked inside. They are not having aggression issues or any other crowding based problems.
I just want to know how I can best get them through the winter not be attacked over coop size. Yes I know it’s to small but it would have been fine for the 6 ordered but the hatchery sent 11. Please know that several people have pointed this out. All it is making me feel is terrible for even asking for advice.
I’m new here, so if I’m out of line, or wrong, everyone can say so... I don’t think they were saying that the chickens will be locked in the coop, it’s just..I’ve learned, with the cold and snow..they choose to stay inside...for a long period of time. Could be days, depending on your weather. And, I believe, I could be wrong, that chickens require certain square footage per bird..and because I’m new, I don’t remember. I understand that you got more birds. I understand that you are feeling bad for writing the post...it’s happened to me many times. But, in the best interest of your birds..that you obviously love because you made them a beautiful coop...I, if it were me...would put the birds’ needs first and try to build onto it now...even if it’s an eyesore...then change it in the spring. Just so you don’t lose some of your dear chickens. Don’t listen to me if you want, because, really, I am just learning, but I have learned a TON from these very people!
