Well I have given up searching for the night spent way more time in that barn than I wanted too. But 2 of 4 is better than none. Hoping the other hen is with the rooster and okay till morning.

Go out before dawn and track rooster down by his crowing.

Yeah I'm gonna leave the window open in the bed room hoping his crowing will wake me up. Should be in bed but bothers me I only found 2 of the 4.

I have done same more than once. Mine were games that squirmed out of burlap sacks. They usually do not go very far, 100 yards at most. My screwups involved a lot more birds.

Well I'll catch them I hope tomorrow as I don't have to go into work till late. Had the better half grab a bit of corn from the feed store and spread it out in an area hoping they will take the bait

If you have a neighbor who has chickens they might show up near their chicken pen. I never saw my neighbor's chickens till I got my own now they like to come "visit".

Well I'm happy to recover 2. I want to recover all 4 but 50% is better than nothing. Looking forward to tomorrow may have to try and run them down if I find em in the yard lol I can use the exerscise.

Okay hen #3 and the rooster have been spotted lol. Well the rooster has been crowing since about 5 am. trying to bring them back in the yard with food but no luck yet. I'll have to try and find the roost tonight and grab em.

just got to look in the old barn a bit better.
