will they fight?

They may. Given enough space, fighting should be minimal. Most fighting occurs when there are more cocks than hens.

we are gonna have 3 females 2 males for now. 4 of them are already friends, we are adopting them on saturday. later this month we may also get another male but he’s still at his foster home right now.

They will get over it. They dont tear each other up like other birds do.
will they fight if i put my ducklings in with them? we are gonna put the ducklings and their brooder in for a week or two then let them out and have free range of the whole pigeon coop. would the 2 male pigeons or 3 female pigeons be an issue to each other or my baby ducks?

i would have been more prepared with a seperate coop but the 4 new pigeons we are getting are rescues from a rehoming situation so we have to get them this weekend

That is a very bad idea to add the ducklings to a pigeon coop!

Ducks really are messy and dirty.. they will make the place filthy and smelly very quickly, with their poop and food / water splattered everywhere. The pigeons and duck can get diseases and sickness from each other very easily in such conditions.

Please never house ducks with pigeons.

we need to for like a month, we need to build another duck coop. (we weren’t expecting to get these ducklings and just found out about the pigeons. the pigeons will have their own places to get away from the ducks

:goodpost: I already responded to your other thread, keeping them together doesn't sound like the best idea.

Please be a responsible owner..... don't get animals on an impulse when you have nowhere to house them or care for them properly, and when you need to do research into how to care for them first. That is cruel.

If you weren't expecting to get the ducklings... then why get them? Surely ducklings are easy enough to buy in the future, when you have build their duck coop and prepared for their arrival?

we do care for them properly... we thought they could go with the bigger ducks but one of them is really aggressive so they can’t
