I think we'll try it with a couple of us wading into the creek and standing guard to prevent them from floating downstream too far as that's my main concern. I'll report back.

Do you have any pics of this creek you could post for us to see? I am trying to get a visual of this creek, sounding more like a large river with a current if your worried about your babies floating down the creek and never to be seen from again.
