Will they get used to the ducks?

I got a couple ducks at the farmer's market this morning (from someone I know and trust). They are both drakes; one is Cayuga and the other is black Swedish. I have them in a pen of their own, but my two turkeys are all but glued to the sides of the fencing around the ducks. They even try to stick their heads through the openings of the wire.

I had no idea they would react this way. One is a female blue slate born spring of 2010, and the other is male bourbon red/blue slate born June of this year (the female I have is his mama).

Will they finally get used to the ducks?

Anything I can do to help the situation? Any precautions I should take? Any thing I should watch out for?

Any advice, info, etc. would be appreciated.

My guess is that your ladies just are curios of the two newcomers. My Turkeys are extremely curios and totally fascinated of all new things happening around our house. They have never been interested in the ducks probably because the ducks already lived here when I got my turkeys. But they were very interested in my gees when they moved here. Now they don't bother and roam freely around the farm with both gees and ducks.

So I think your ladies will be cool with the ducks in an day or two.

PS Say hallo from me in Sweden to your Swedish duck
