Will this chick make it out?

This baby is hatching under a broody. It's made a complete mess out of it's egg though. I made the hole at the top so that I knew it could breathe. I made sure to make the hole in the air cell. Anyway, is this okay for the chick to be pecking away at the shell like this? It's still breathing and moving around. The opposite side of the egg is untouched. No chips, no cracks, nothing. I've never seen anything like it.

The chick itself is probably not what's pecking away this shell.
It is more than likely the hen doing this.

Do you have an incubator?
Are there more eggs under the hen?

I do have an incubator. There were a total of 5 eggs under her, 2 of which have hatched successfully and the shells looked like they normally should after a chick hatches.

I have never seen a chick make this type of mess trying to hatch.
My guess is the mom is damaging the egg.
I believe it would be safer to move it to an incubator to keep a closer eye on it because I'm pretty sure you are going to have to help it hatch.
How long ago did the others hatch?

All today. The first pip was found this morning. One hatched sometime during the day and the other hatched not too awfully long ago because it's not dry yet.

It will almost certainly die if you leave it under then hen.

You know I'm thinking it's possible that maybe the hen isn't trying to hurt this egg but maybe accidentally stepped on it.
Either way I think a bator is best.
