I don't see why not, but it might depend on how big you incubator is. I'm no expert, but if the incubator is small a 80mm fan would be ok or maybe better.

I would say that it is a small-ish incubator, it can hold about 30-35 eggs in it when it is full, but it is fairly tall.

I use an old CPU fan out of a computer, one out of the power supply will work too. I use a 12 volt power pack that plugs into 110 and cut and splice the wires together. The CPU fan is more quiet and does the best job for me.

I also use an old CPU fan spliced into an old cell phone charging cord. My homemade incubator holds 30 eggs, and is a cabinet style also. Any size fan should be fine as long as it circulates the air a little.

I have a large home made cabinet style incubator (holds 123 eggs) that I have 2 fans similar to the one you are talking about in it. It does a great job of circulating the air. I do still have small differences in temps, but I move my eggs once a week and have great hatches. I do want to warn you that they are a little noisy. You get used to it though. Mine runs 24/7 for 6 months.

Good luck!
