Even with clipped wings, it will be a trial and error. It may or may not work. Depends on your group of hens and if one gets over, than the others will likely fallow.
If you clip them once and they stop trying to fly. When their feathers return, old habits may or may not kick in. It just really depends on your flock. Do you have a leader who tends to be the first one to fly over ?

I've only had to clip my chickens wings once and they've either not grown back or tried to fly over the fence?

How old are your chickens and how long ago did you clip their wings?

Mine are a year and a half and had clipped them once about a year ago.
