I use a fogger from home depot, I buy the one for bed bugs. I think it may be a purple box. I lock everyone out, and shut all the windows and fog away. It works very well, and the mite carnage is something else! Looks a little like red dust over everything. It's good to kill them in the cracks where it's hard to get to them. I do it about twice a year. I try to fog when they usually take the longest break. I try to watch them for a day or so before hand to figure out when that is. The ladies get so impatient and don't want to wait for it to air out, but I try for a good 4 hours or so to air out before I let them back in. Fan's help to clear it out of there. By the time it's done they are all dancing at the edge of the fence trying to get back in, screaming " I gotta go! I gotta go!"
