Will this rabbit waterer work?

Ok so right now my 7 week old chicks are using one like this, but it's too small so I got a new one but it has a different valve on it.
This is the old one.


And this is the new one. Will they be able to use it or do I need to return it?

They'll probably learn how to use it. It will be kinda drippy, of course. Just be careful with the tube drinkers. Chickens can get their beaks stuck in the tube and do damage. It's okay to use when their beaks are still small, though.

I tried it and they are learning! Thanks! My chicks have been using rabbit waterers since they were 2 weeks old (i think) and now they are 7 weeks so they are experienced.

Beware and take caution, I had a rooster that was put in isolation for plucking my silkie roo bald I put a rabbit waterer in for him to drink to keep from taking up space in his mini coop and he was doing quite well for a while until I went out one morning and he had ripped half of his top beak off from the waterer. It had got stuck in the little hole and he shook his head loose. It was so sad and he did get a special wet diet for a while until he could peck again. I promised my poor "Blanche" I would warn others about what could happen good luck with your babies!
