Will this starter feed work for Quail?

Will this organic starter feed also work for quail? Thank you.

Yes. Read over the ingredients. You might want to add a little hard-boiled egg and smashed dried meal worms to this mash as a starter for the first week.

Organic means there's no sprays and chemicals in the feed-which is excellent for quail chicks.

No!! Quail are so small and the starter size they eat at first is almost the size of salt. Use a Turkey Gamebird Starter. I would not use a whole grain feed starter for quail.

My eyesight is not the best. If the feed is whole grain, the above post is correct, totally unsuitable for quail chicks. They need to be started with a mash as finely ground as possible for the first week or so.

I use game bird starter with the hard boiled egg and crushed meal worm blended in.

The feed shown could be used only if it can be ground into smaller piece mash.
