Will this turn into cross beak, or just crooked face? (Pic)

My two week old Buff Orp has a crooked beak. I'm wondering if this is the beginning of cross beak, or if her face is just a little off center. Does anyone know what will happen when she gets older? If it's just crooked, I'm not so worried. But if she will get cross beak, I don't want to watch her starve to death. Here she is:

I just posted the same question about my young Sultan bantam, her face has become crooked as she grows and it looks quite similar to your chick's issue. Mine seems to be doing really well, and her beak is not crossed at all, so I think yours stands a good chance at being fine as well!

She's my favorite..... she's alert & adventurous & is the only one who is not afraid of me. Now she needs a very cool name. She's obviously going to be a bit odd looking......
Any suggestions?

When we got our cross-beaked bantam cochin, I wanted to name her Funky (Phunkie?) because she was a Funky Chicken.

DBF went with Tribble, which suited her well.

usually the one that is the friendliest is a boy. I have a chick like yours. It has a crossbeak and it crooked.
It did not even show at hatch, but it sure does now.

Well, I ordered all girls from Mypetchicken, so I really hope she's a she, but if not, I'll find a way to keep him.

Lurky, do you have to do anything special for your roo or is he just fine with the others?
