Will this work as a chicken run

I would put a skirting attached to the outside of run using a 2"x4" mesh coming out at least a foot along the ground. If you weight the skirts down with pavers or rocks, you can make everything movable and still stop diggers for digging under. If your shade cloth is over 2"x4" wire I would see not problem of letting chickens have continuous access to the run.
