I would only keep 2 hens and a rooster that will visit Don't know if he would be ok in there for long. I am not sure what the average height for a rooster is. I thought this would be good for the hens and chicks. To be away from the others and safe.

Looks nice. It would work for that many poultry. I would put wire down on the bottom though so predators cannot dig under.

It is covered on all sides and bottom with 1/2' mess So you think a large rooster will fit in there? How long does he need to even stay in there?
