Hi, I don't have an incubator at home so I tried to make due with stuff around the house.
60 wat bulb
Small plastic box
Books

Will this work to incubate my egg, I believe it's an indian runner or pekin egg. I do not have a thermometer either so I can't check the temperature. I assume the egg should be warm to the touch correct?

That was pretty much my emergency setup and I got 2 out of 12 eggs to hatch. I would suggest buying a thermometer though. Otherwise I don't think its worth it.

See if you can find an incubator at a farm store like TSC. Your setup would be for short term emergency incubating

Walmart...fish section...cheap thermometer (you can easily over heat the egg fast without one)

I believe it was freshly laid when I found it because it wasnt there the day before.
