will turkeys freerange and return to coupe?

As above guys,just wondering if I can let the two I have out to forage during the day.
They have been penned for a month since I bought them,theyre around 3mths old or a little more.

All of mine do. Except one tom I had INSISTED on roosting on the round-pen. We'd move him in & he'd roost a while & find his way back in the dark.

yeah just dont feed them before you let them out let them scratch around for themselves, and when they are all inside feed them what they need there theyll be trained to going there before dark

My heritage turkeys return to the run, but they roost on the edge of the run, and not under cover, nor in the coop. My BBB's roosted in the coop until they got too big to fit the door, but they still returned to the covered run every night.
