For all of you who have no real plans for Valentine's Day; You Tube has a live eagle-cam of a pair of eagles' nest with two eggs, due to hatch around Valentine's Day.
Look for FriendsofBigBearValley.org on you tube. So far tonight she has slapped the pooh out of a flying squirrel 3 times. And a few days ago she slapped an owl.
The female seems to stay on the nest at night, her name is Jackie and her mate's name is Shadow. Shadow will sit on the nest sometimes during the day. He also hunts and brings Jackie food (usually fish).
