Willhaus flock update!

I know nobody is following this but we are excited chicken owners and this seems to be the place to let it all out! 5 months in as first time chicken owners and my have we had some ups and downs. From losing our first baby silkie to an almost ready to lay hen we have seen the sadness that comes with raising a flock. But we've also experienced more joy and love than ever thought possible from these funny flightless birds. If you look back through my first posts, the one that we were wondering if it was a rooster, is a rooster. He closed his head off every morning and sometimes every hour on the hour. He's loved by the entire neighborhood (we live in the middle of town ) and the coolest rooster ever! I hope these pictures give you a small glimpse into the joy these birds have brought our family!
