Sleepy time

Willow yawned. It was such a great day. She scratched out a list for things to do:
1) Chase Fern
2)Eat
3)Sleep
4)Sunbathe (OR Lampbathe?)
5) Sleep!

The others were almost ready to go outside.

Willow had heard about these 'big circles' that girls made. They could be big, small, Brown, white, pink,green,blue, and speckled!
Willow had never seen these things, but she imagined they would be beautiful.
It was rainy and cold [52 F*] so the chicks didn't get to go outside today. But, they all, one by one, went by the window and checked out some of the older girls.
They saw many different colors,sizes, and shapes!

They even got to see the house they'd be living in.

After all that 'fun' the girls went to sleep in some nice soft hay.

Update on the chicks:
The chicks are about 2 weeks old.. growing out of their brooder SO fast! They love to fly around like crazies too

. Cross your fingers Button isn't a boy...!
Sandy and Willow have been doing great, same with the others. It seems like Willow and Lacey are being the boss's.... fun!
