Hello & welcome! Have you joined the NY thread yet?? You will find a huge variety of chickens are kept in NY state. Almost every breed you can think of. My flock is geared towards cold climate so I have RIRs', Delawares, Welsummers, Dominiques. This year I have added Barnvelders, barred Rocks & SL Wyandotte.
