Wimpy roosters...

I have three pretty much full grown roos. One is about a 24 week old EE, one 20 week old Silkie, and one 16 week old mix (dominique & something else). The Silkie very rarely crows (not every day), but none of the others do. They are all really wimpy & not at the top of the pecking order. Is this all pretty typical?

If the roos are in a flock of mature hens this is typical.

Will this change as they get a little older then?

Not necessarily, My main roo is definately not at the top of the pecking order, there are several hens that boss him around and the funny thing is if he even acts like he is going to try to mate with the top hens they turn around and give him good ole reverse wife beating.

I thought about little white athletic t-shirts for them
