I would think so. You just want to be sure you leave plenty of ventilation. I'm having problems with condensation freezing on my tarp-covered run at night, then dripping in the day. Pretty dry here, so not a big issue, but I'm definitely going to increase airflow. (Fortunately, no problems in coop!)

my run is 7-8ft high. i’ll only block from the ground up to the cross-brace beam so there will be more than enough ventilation.

Smart! I went further up, using plastic shower curtains, and am going to have to remove some of it. I did leave space at the top, but apparently not enough!

I've used these. They work great! When you're done with them, you can clean them and store them for reuse.

I've also used shower curtains. Also effective but so much cheaper! I rigged rods for them and just tried them back then not in use.

wind blocks done. Lowe’s only had two panels. id like to put another one on the short side of the run to the right of this photo when they come back in stock, but for now the birds have a nice wind protected hideout under the coop and their feeder/water is protected as well

I like to use a few intact straw bales in my run. They break the wind very nicely at chicken height.
