What is the best direction to face a open air coop in Louisiana ? I was thinking close off the north and west sides and open sides to the south and east. Is this a good year round judgement ?

    Thank you.

You want the sides where you get most of your severe weather to be the closed ones. I don't live in hurricane territory so take that into consideration but I would think you'd want the south and west closed off. You don't really get the frigid winter winds blowing in from the north, do you?

Just pay attention to where rain hits your house the most, I find south is best
