my coop is just chicken wire. One side is half covered with a thin blanket and a side is covered with a tarp that is flying off as I'm typing! What do I do!!!???

do you have any way to secure it down? If they are exposed to the elements and have no place to get out of the wind then you may want to bring them in till it can be fixed. I just winterized my coop today by securing a board over the open side of my coop. There is still plenty of ventilation though with that covered. Zip ties work really well or tie it with rope or wire.

I use dog kennels as my coops. I have tarps on three sides and use zip ties to secure them. Works well for me.
