So I have a few windows added to coop because I thought it would get light in the morning and warmth but was wondering if a predator sees them in the window might that b a bad idea

Yeah. Is the floor of the coop dirt? If so, dig around the entire coop and place the chicken wire in the hole, then place the dirt on top of it. That will prevent predators who can dig to get underneath the chicken coop and kill them. And if you have windows and a digging predator can see them, they will dig right into there and kill all of them.Only if you leave access to enter for the predator.

Oh, oopsie! Not chicken wire, that extremely tough woven wire.. what's that called?Never use chicken wire as any animal can tear right through it. Use hardwire cloth. It’s stronger than chicken wire. Place hardwire cloth on the windows so it is still ventilating and open.
