windows

So I have a few windows added to coop because I thought it would get light in the morning and warmth but was wondering if a predator sees them in the window might that b a bad idea

The windows will not do anything predator wise..... unless you keep them open and the openings are not well covered with strong wire.

Predators will know the chickens are there from sound and smell....

Windows are excellent, add many.

But do make sure that if they open the openings are securely covered with strong wire.

When covering your windows, make sure you attach the wire on the outside of the windows. That way if a predator tries to push into the coop, it will be pushing against the framing, not just the screws holding the wire.
Ehhh....maybe....just make sure you use good fasteners for the HC.
