Ok so after a couple of hatches with the wine obator that I made. I finally have it dialed in and can report the last 2 hatches have been successful.
One at a little over 80% and another at 100%. So needless to say I am pretty pleased with it.
I had 14 out of 17 and 17 out of 17 with the little incubator that I made.
The whole thing can be made for around 150 bucks and could be made a little cheaper with some scrounged parts. I ordered the bi metal thermostat from incubator warehouse and use a garage door 60w bulb to heat it with. A $5 hydrometer from pets mart. A 120v fan from amazon. I used the auto turners for the little giant incubator. My incubator will hold 84 eggs, but I normally just put one turner in there at a time and keep the other as a back up if the one ever craps out.
Took me about 3 months to get it dialed in but dang it is working pretty good. I may make a youtube video about it if I get the time before the weekend gets here.
