So, we have been blessed with a lot of produce this year. And what better way to utilize it than to make some wine? I have (4) 5 gallon batches going right now, and hope to get a few more going in the coming week. So far I have: Cranberry & Elderberry (it was popular last year), Elderberry, Blackberry, and Blackberry & Blueberry.

we are moving right along. Bottled the Elderberry wine, and the Blackberry & Blueberry wine too. Still have to put the heat shrink foil and a label on the bottles. But they should be finished up just in time for the Holidays!

Still have the Elderberry Cranberry (last years favorite at Thanksgiving), and the Blackberry wine to bottle. I'm happy with the production this year. I have plans to start 1 more batch, an Elderberry Blackberry, it was one of my most complimented ones last season.

Looking good 🤟 were you able to measure the alcohol % ? I have about 11 gal of muscadine that I just did the 2nd rack, hoping to bottle in January.

Have you aged any bottles for a couple years to compare smoothness? Our Muscadine peaks around the 3-4 year mark, but I know every fruit and recipe is a little different

I think the frosted bottles add a bit of class in my opinion. The elderberry is right around 9.5% and the Blackberry Blueberry is 12%. I have tried to age some for a while, but so far most of it gets gifted or bartered. I have 1 bottle of Elderberry Blackberry that is 1 year old, and the wife and I may save it for this New Years Eve.
