wing clipping

So I clipped all my chickens wings about a week ago to help keep them in the fenced area which is about 5 ft high. Anybody know how often I need to clip them?

I was told 2 times a year. I just clipped my chickens wings about 3 weeks ago

I have young chicks, they are about 6-8 weeks old can you tell me how they should be when you clip them? I have 2 that insist on flying out of the coop and into the run door. I'm worried they are going to get hurt. I do understand that they are a little young yet to clip just want to be sure when to do it...didnt mean to still the thread
