Wing feathers

When should I be seeing feathers on newly hatched chicks?
I got mine Wednesday night as day-olds.
This is Friday night and the little already have feathers!!

(My first time with chicks. Before this I've gotten POLs or had someone else do the brooding for me.)

My chicks are 9 days old, and I could see a difference every day! I was surprised at how fast their feathers started coming in.

My Black Jersey Giants were 2 weeks old and one flew up and out of the brooder and ended up on the floor under the dining room table! They do feather up quickly, and they figure out what those feathers are good for even quicker...

I think I have 2 Barred Rocks and 5 RIRs.
Whatever they are, they're pretty cute and always hungry.
