Some birds know better. Mine don't deal with golf balls and kick them right out. Thanks! Fingers crossed they use the boxes. I have golf balls in each but wondering if I should switch to something more egg shaped.

One per box is enough.Ok then! I'll order some!!
Congrats on all the eggs!Another new layer today!
At age 27 weeks (and 1 day) my Ancona finally laid a white egg! It's the smallest egg I've received yet at 41g.
Here it is next to my EE's egg from yesterday. Turns out that it's not blue, it's more of a mint green! She didn't lay an egg today but I did still get 5 total. 4 of which were found in the same nest box.
Me too! I'm so curious what color my other EEs will lay!Congrats on all the eggs!Love the mint egg!

Congrats on your Blue Australorp figuring out the boxes.Ok... I believe I was wrong before. I NOW have all 4 Barred Rocks laying. I received a tiny beige egg today and since ALL my eggs were laid in the nest boxes, I was able to watch the trail cam footage and confirm.
Also, I received my fake eggs today to replace the golf balls as @TwoCrows suggested and when I went to put them in the nest boxes, I discovered the Blue Australorp laid in the nest box! Finally, she figured it out! The fake eggs still came in handy, though, because they've been fighting over 1 box and they started spreading out to the other boxes.
I received 7 eggs today! All 7 of my layers gave me an egg. Still waiting on 4 more pullets to lay their first.
