I wish we had somewhere near by that got chicks from Ideal! Places here get theirs from Hoover. I finally found a friend who wants to split an order from Ideal though so I’ll be getting some! Never ordered through the mail. Hopefully they all come healthy!
Zombies would be such an interesting chicken to have! Do you think you’ll ever get any of those?

The zombies are cool looking but probably not. My main goal is egg color variety and dual purpose. I don't think I could convince my loved ones to eat black/grey chicken meat

Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers! Seeing your OE pics has completely convinced me!

That's great! I hope you can get the Onyx OEs. They're pretty new and weren't on the website or in the catalog. Someone from Ideal actually messaged me here on BYC and asked for egg pictures because they were so new.

I have no idea! Maybe call and make a special request? The person from Ideal who contacted me hasn't been online in months.

I only got them because they shipped random breeds to that little family farm.

I think only 4 out of my 6 OEs are laying so I don't have a clear average yet. Today all 4 gave me an egg.

I track my eggs in the app Flockstar. Here's the egg count for June for my first OE layer. She layed her first egg June 8.

And since I know you're also getting Easter Eggers. Here's how many eggs one of my EEs laid in June. She's a year and a half old.

Oh WOW! They’re like my red sex links! That’s amazing. I was hoping for 4-5 each a week but yours are doing 6+. Out of my order I’ll only get 2 EEs and 1 OE (blue.) I already have too many chickens and are selling off a couple to get these new ones lol. But I’m so so excited!
