It's so true though I'm pretty sure I've mentioned my 3ft rule with Onyx And my right arm has a new peck mark from Sansa almost every day The things we do for chickening

Good news! For the first time, the babies made it up the ladder into the coop without my help!

Good thing, too... I highly doubt my Dr would approve when she told me to rest from my fractured rib. I don't think crawling on my hands and knees trying to evade an Attack Chicken while grabbing 3 chicks gently and twisting to put them up in the mini coop would be her idea of rest.

The first one made it up pretty quickly. Once mama saw she had one chick, she stayed put and called the others. The 2nd one took about 5 min and then figured it out. The 3rd one cried and ran frantically around the run for a solid half hour... I figured since mama wasn't worried, I'd be hands off and just watch until it got dark. FINALLY, it got the idea and made it up right when I was about to give in and grab it.

Ok this is hilarious. I shared that pic with my mom and she said "is she eating ok? She looks so much smaller."

It's because she's not pissed off for once!!! She's back to her normal size hahaha
