So how would I go with sexing them? Other than vent sexing.

Do not vent sex. Unless you are a professional, it's confusing at most and dangerous for the chicks at the very least.

Wait until they are 5-6 weeks old and post pics here. With that cross, I imagine the cockerels will show early development.

I know I wasn’t planning on doing vent sexing becuase I just don’t want to accidentally harm the birds. And yes at 5 weeks old I’ll post some pics.

If you are really dying to know you can DNA sex them. I am doing that for a batch of Tolbunts I hatched. Otherwise the best method is to wait until they develop their secondary sex characteristics (comb/wattle growth, hackle feathering) after the 12-14 week mark.

I sexed my silkies by this method, both are pullets.

The fathers are sebrights mixes and the mother is a white leghorn.

I haven't tried it with this cross, so I'm not sure, so I'm going throw out an educated guess, & say #1. Female, & #2, possible male.

Update us as they grow?
