See the edit....

I just left it like birdy used it, no sense changing everything

Thank you, I liked the first response better anyway.

It would make ES so happy to know that at least Fawn is on his side. ;_;

"Clawstar and I spoke this through thoroughly, he said that if I returned I would become leader again," he said, "There are going to be some changes around here, things I think are long overdue to be taken care of. I promise you all that I will give you the best leader you could ever ask for, never again will I react so cowardly. That was just--" he paused with his beak slightly dropped, "...The best thing I could think of to do at the time, I suppose."

"You have my word; that I will never again leave the family that has given me so much," his voice rose, "WingClan has my oath that I will be the best leader I can possibly be." StormWing hugged him as a tear came to her eye, "You did it, honey," she murmured softly, "I'm proud of you."

The hawk coughed and wheezed as his conciousness regained from the hard strike to the ground. Horribly dazed with blurry vision, he walked out of camp, slumping down in exhaustion at the stump of a tree and taking in a deep breath.

SwiftPaw walked up to the hawk, gave it a sharp peck in the wing, and scurried off.

CycloneTail came up to the beast and twisted each leg until a breaking snap could be heard. He gave it a sharp spurring kick and walked off.

The pitiful creature was left to slowly and painfully die, again falling unconcious as blood slowly dribbled from his wounds.

MoonGlow put some moss on the hawk's wounds, taking pity on the miserable creature.
