"Ok, before we enter that room, let's get something straight," immediately he stopped, withstanding her attempts to pull him due to his large weight and height. He began to pace. "Firstly, you are not going in there with me. The last thing I need is some . . ." he gestured vainly. "Some obnoxious bubble bath perfume, or whatever it is you ladies use to smell nice. Secondly," this time his grey eyes were amused and outraged simultaneously. "I am not a dog to be pampered or . . . decorated with ribbons and bows. I'm just going to go in there, duck into the water, and get out, got it?"
she sigh "there is 2 baths, with a wall between them, and there is every thing we need' she push him in ,putting him in the room that dont have the door out, and goes to the one that has the door out
Ever since his brother had dumped him in a raging river as a young chick, Bloodwing had found water a disgusting substance. The feeling of it crawling down his throat, into his lungs, squeezing the life out of him from the inside out, had never left him. Drinking was barely tolerable, but this . . .
With a deep breath, Bloodwing opened his grey eyes, teetering on the edge of the in-ground pool. The water lapped at his feet temptingly, taunting his fears instead of beguiling them. It looked so sinister, as if it would swallow him the moment he stepped into its inviting depths. Cold sweat dribbled down his beak, adding to the calm bathing pit below. In that moment, he knew he couldn't do it. It was irrational. It was ridiculous, embarrassing, and humiliating, but it was impossible.
Nervously he glanced towards the room where Scarlet was enjoying her own pool. With a sigh, he turned back to the water, and began splashing at it slightly, hoping to convince the hen in the other room.
