"I would also like to announce that StarryNight has expressed her desire to become a Broody hen. May we all respect her in her decision, and for the many days she served as a persevering warrior!" he called out, again the warriors cheered.

The sound of tiny paw steps could be heard not far away "There" He breathed, flicking his tail towards a bush

Heronwing looked up, hearing Clawstar's announcement of "Silent Vigil". "Catch it quick, Stonepaw," she breathed. "Then go sit beside the other chicks for the vigil."

He nodded and slowly crept through the forest, weaving around the bracken like a snake. When he finally came within striking distance he leapt, pinning the mouse to the ground and killing it quickly.
