Hazelpaw followed at a brisk trot, chattering non-stop. His fear was mostly gone now, and any he had left he covered with his talk.
She would reply to what he would say, now and then her mind would drift off of his incessant jabbering and she would simply nod to appear that she was still listening. "Here we are," she said as she stopped in a quiet area of the forest, the Three Yews. The grand trees stood high above them in what seemed to form an almost perfect triangle, their mighty boughs collecting at the top to supply plenty of shade.
"Okay, are you ready?" she asked, laying her intent silvery white gaze on him.
