He nodded briskly, motioning them to start surrounding it. A low growl formed in it's throat and it bared it's fangs. It's dark eyes shifted to Rainpaw, what it saw as the smallest, easiest catch. It shuffled into a pounce and sprang swiftly off of it's feet and onto Rainpaw, pinning her down with claws clenched, a few feathers flying up into the air.
Comet flew up and spurred it's neck while he was in mid-air, and kept them there, flapping his wings until he was on the beast's shoulders. With his spur still punctured through it's flesh, he ran backward, dragging it through and leaving a long gash all the way down it's back. The pain was finally enough for it to be enraged at Comet, leting go of it's previous potential prey, letting Rainpaw scuffle out. It paced around Comet with it's muzzle rippled into a snarl, it's dorsal pelt soaked with blood.
