Puff sat alone in a small clearing on the border, he had been watching the stars rise. Now however, he was picking at the splint on his foot. It was a vain attempt he knew, his beak wasn't sharp enough to cut grass let alone whatever Thorn used as a bandage. He sighed and let himself fall softly on the moss behind him, feet in air. He watched a silver moth fly by, but it wasn't a moth, it was a small dusty butterfly.
