I'm me. Even if I could become a better me, I'm still me!" Shuddering, he saw the darkness of unconsciousness closing in.

Had . . ." slowly, his eyes closed, but it was only to sleep. The bleeding had stopped, and he needed to rest. Every bone ached, even the ones that were not broken. " . . . to."
