Thorntalon starts by rubbing some ointment on his wounds and then adds some lichen, topped with a wrapping of a grass bandage. A few scars were so deep she ended up having to stitch them up, "There you go," she said while smiling, "Tell me if you need anything."

"Thanks." she said, then she was embarassed when she realized he'd come to see her in the middle of a dust bath, started preening the dirt from her feathers.

"So tell me," said CycloneTail, "what was it like living with two-legs? I've only lived out in the wild and encountered them once...not enough for me to know about them..."
 
"It was hard to get acquainted with at first," sighed the little hen, "They keep you in rather dank, unsanitary conitions but at least they feed you. They also give you water, and clean up the room. They often stole eggs from our nests."
